The Lancia Stratos was the legendary rallying automobile of the 70s, with unparalleled style, power and speed that wowed motor sports fans. And when forty years since its 1st look, Lancia is getting to re-introduce the light-weight and high powered 2010 New Stratos within the automotive racing world.
With the vision of Michael Stoschek, the chairman of the Brose cluster, shareholders and avid historic racing automobile collectors, the development of the 2010 New Stratos started. Retaining its original look and speed with a couple of trendy modifications has been set to roll out.
The roll cage manufactured to FIA standards is formed from a pair of.5 mm-thick, forty mm-wide diameter tubing welded into shorter aluminum chassis to boost handling precision and vehicular safety. On the New Stratos’ engine, parts from the Ferrari 430 Scuderia are being employed and customised as necessary for increased rigidity, higher management with the 6-speed transmission and a replacement mechanical differential lock, an improved brake system and electro-hydraulic steering.
